Meet our Doctors

Edward  P. Andersen, O.D.
Dr. Andersen is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley, School of Optometry and attended the University of California at Davis for his undergraduate work. Dr. Andersen is Board Certified by the American Board of Optometry and provides therapeutic treatment for glaucoma and other eye diseases. Dr. Andersen also practices in Dixon at Dixon Eyecare with Dr. John Rosten, OD and Dr. Clare Thomasy, OD. He also works for Vision Service Plan (VSP) as a compliance auditor. Dr. Andersen is a member of the American Optometric Association and has served as president of his local optometric society. He has been active in the Winters Rotary Club and has served as president there as well. Dr. Andersen also serves as a Board member for Vision One Credit Union. Dr. Andersen has four adult children Jamie, Ashley, T.J. and Ryan and has been married for over thirty five years to his wife Janet. He is an outdoor enthusiast and in his free time, enjoys time in nature.​
